TOTAL ENERGY USA 2013 in Houston at the George R. Brown Convention Center, November 19-21.
What is Total Energy USA?
Total Energy USA is an annual trade event that will assemble the full range of traditional and renewable energy industries for a comprehensive look at the overarching, integrated energy solutions taking shape today. The objective is to mirror the more current/ progressive thinking about achieving a sustainable energy future.
What inspired this new event?
Total Energy USA is based on the principle that addressing our nation’s energy challenges will be achieved through a comprehensive strategy in which energy efficiency and clean energy work together. Our current state of energy crisis is calling for a change. Total Energy USA recognizes that the key industries and professionals leading us into the future will be forced to progress and replace old ways for new. Such an influential effort calls for an event like this that brings together the major thought leaders and change makers to share ideas and information, explore opportunities and remain current.
How is TOTAL ENERGY USA different from other energy events?
Total Energy USA is the only event in the US that brings together all the energy sectors—fossil, nuclear, renewables, and cross-cutting sectors like energy-efficiency. Furthermore, unlike other events that have a defined bias, Total Energy USA offers a balanced forum for delegates to make their own decisions and for sponsors to showcase all their products in a similarly level playing field. It should also be noted that our mission is not to compete with other energy events, but to collaborate with associations, media and other organizations in the energy sectors that have compatible goals or a synergistic mission. This inclusive nature will elevate the dialogue and discussions to help advance the stated goal of the Department of Energy to develop energy resources that are “robust, flexible and diversified”.
Who is behind Total Energy USA?
Total Energy USA is produced by VP International, with participation and assistance from several key entities: Technology Transition Corporation, which will lead the content development for the educational program; Marketing Design Group, the nation’s leading agency specializing in trade shows, in charge of strategy and execution on the marketing and public relations front; and the Greater Houston Convention and Visitors Bureau, the Greater Houston Partnership, and the Houston Technology Center, which will combine their efforts and work closely with Total Energy USA to contribute toward the success of the event in Houston.
When and where will it take place?
The inaugural event is taking place November 27-29, 2012 at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas.
Who participates?
Total Energy USA will bring together professionals from across the clean and renewable energy segments, including biomass and biofuels, energy efficiency, geothermal, hydrogen and fuel cells, natural gas, nuclear, solar, wind and more.
Why Houston?
No other city offers the combination of energy-related expertise, resources and technology—or the commitment to leveraging opportunities for development, commercialization and networking. Houston is transferring its knowledge in traditional fuels into advances in alternative energy.
Still have questions? …
Information about participating exhibitors and sponsors, conference programming and other event offerings will be revealed between now and November 2012 on the event’s website, TotalEnergyUSA.com and through industry press. We’ll also be using social media channels and a robust direct marketing campaign to publicize the event.
