Houston offers Local and Park & Ride bus service. Local bus service runs along city streets and sites; fare is $1.25 one-way. Taxis
Houston has an abundance of taxis, and they offer a flat fare of $6.00 for all trips (including trips with multiple riders) within the downtown area. There are over 30 “hailing cab” stations throughout downtown where taxis briefly stop to pick up passengers.
